About

In Apulia, between sea and forest, immersed in the breath of the Mediterranean sea

The exclusive privilege of extra-comfort hospitality in the millennial green of the Umbra Forest, the deep heart of the Gargano National Park.

Where the breath of the wildest and most unspoiled nature meets the bubbling breeze of the Adriatic Sea stands the Elda Hotel, exactly in the center of the "integral natural reserve" of the Umbra Forest, among the most important in Europe.

Immersed in the luxuriant vegetation of this sublime oasis of over 10,000 hectares at 800 meters above sea level, the Elda Hotel represents an innovative safeguard and enhancement of the naturalistic habitat of the well-known Apulian Park. In fact, the structure is the result of a complex eco-sustainable project to recover the historic hotel-refuge, inaugurated in 1940, among the first in the province of Foggia, which for decades has been a point of reference for the entire Montagna del Sole, the Gargano promontory.

NATURALISTIC HABITAT

An oasis among the secular beech woods of the Umbra Forest

An elegant building, rebuilt through a meticulous search for materials and energy solutions adequate to ensure the minimal environmental impact of the precious ecosystem, to restore the pleasure of staying in the embrace of the Forest, a few kilometers from the most beautiful coasts of Puglia.

Since 2017, the ancient beech woods have been recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and the extraordinary biodiversity of its flora and fauna make it one of the most popular destinations for travel and vacation enthusiasts to discover the nature of the Mediterranean and its most beautiful landscapes.
